About Abandonment

One of our services is to receive hedgehogs,

whether it’s because of personal reasons,

hedgehog sick or pick up  from street

​

Hedgehog association do not encourage abandonment,

but we understand
"Anyone may also fail to keep their beloved pet for their own reasons",

​

We will not ask for the reason unless the owner wanna say,

because the personal reason is not important. 
And we also will not blame the owner

because it is not benefit for the abandoned hedgehog.

Those abandoned hedgehogs

usually either it will be delivered to people who have no experience or basic knowledge, abandoned on the street

or stay with the owner but without a good care...

​

This association was established to help more hedgehogs,
If the hedgehog abandon because of illness, 
please let us know because we will offer it medical care as needed
We will not reject to receive the sick hedgehogs
We always receive them even the tumor cover half of the face,

as we posted before.

After receiving the abandoned hedgehogs,
We will have a one-month quarantine observation for a period of safety isolation,
Does the hedgehog have hidden diseases or skin problems?
If the hedgehogs are healthy, 
we will help the hedgehog find a new home again.
